On the subject of the church and the rationalization of faith...

I face a wall of scorn, as my thoughts have devolved to fears of the common-day churches. Men of power construct their factions of misguided souls, encasing them in glorious tombs of stone, ornamented in all manner of precious things. What need has the man of God for these excesses? The things of God are intangible, yet men seek to make them mundane. My understanding, of the various cults that have arisen in the name of the Christ, is admittedly limited, but my conviction on the matter of true Christianity is steeled within me.

The doctrine has been established a hundred times over in scripture, yet modern men seek viciously to corrupt it. They believe and preach that the God that causes earth, fire, and water to devour men, will be merciful on the last day. They show no shame in proclaiming their imperfection as ideal. They dabble in witchcraft, and pederasty, and all other manner of immorality, and still they carve the name of the Messiah on their tongues, that all they seek to ensnare with their words may assume the proclaimed source of their perversion. If our God were kinder, he should wipe these idolaters from this Earth. These men who tarnish the name of undeniable perfection. I do not regret my calling these men idolaters for they are nothing less than the worst of that breed. For there are they who believe not in a higher power and choose to reject the notions thereof. Still more abhorrent are these hypocrites, who claim to believe and still long after the darkness. And to what end? They even tie their nooses round the necks of honest men and drag them to their lairs. They spread lies and deceit, that they may control the minds of the weak.

Christ granted us greater things than cathedrals decked in gold and satin. He granted us greater things than hierarchies and corrupted leaders. These men would deny you access to a gift that is offered, not without prerequisite, but paid for with blood and sacrifice. They would deny you the understanding of things and faith, hitherto incomprehensible to you. Christ did not come to lock you further in the recesses of this world, but to grant you freedom from it. Yet the world produces these false anti-Christs to belay you in your darkest hours. Be free of them, for they have misled you. The corrupt cannot whiten your souls. But Christ is incorruptible and seeks to make you so. There is but one church, the bride of Christ, which has been ordained by God himself. Seek the truth and your eyes shall be opened. You shall become a member of this true church, the doctrine of which has been established from the beginning.

We come then to the skeptics of our faith. These are those who claim that there is no God. They rely on their interpretations of scientific endeavors to prove the origin and driving force of all things. Yet they see not the irony of their situation. We who believe, cannot know. Yet, we have faith that we believe a truth, and it is sufficient. Still, this is preferable to the predicament of these scientific men. They may theorize, but desire to understand fully what is impossible for them to know. They discount our faith, but must conclude things that they can never be certain of. None shall ever again witness the beginning of all things; it shall forever be unknown to mortal men. It requires faith to believe what can never be seen. It seems then, that the discounters of God, may yet require the greatest faith of all.
